<description>having spent a lot of money on simplistic, glass top desks from one of those west elm-like stores.. i can definitively say, i will never own a desk without drawers again. our desks are always cluttered and they always look like crap no matter how much you try to organise; and no matter how much you try to hit them with windex. with all my papers, school work, work work, bills, computer monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, etc, i&#039;m left with about .75 sq. ft. of usable desk space. and that visible .75 sq. ft. is full of sticky spots, rings from glasses and beer bottles that have sat there too long, etc. the simplistic, glass-top desk falls way too much in the form over function category for me - and i need function. i just wish i had figured that out prior to spending the amount of money we did. from now on, a more traditional, masculine, wooden desk.. with drawers. and no, i don&#039;t mean another Ikea purchase. oh and a proper chair.. my simplistic form over function chair really chaps my ass... maybe literally. </description>
