Firefox 3.5
Now Featuring: "The Awesome Bar"

50%. That’s the percentage of Gear Patrol readers who use Firefox to read the crew and our readers’ glorious articles and posts. That’s a hefty portion.
If you’re specs obsessed like me, then you care about everything from dimensions, to manufacturing processes, to performance, so why skimp when it comes to your web browsing? Firefox 3.5 is out now and it boogies. Included in the myriad of new features is something called “The Awesome Bar” which is a self-learning tool that works with you to get you to your sites, faster. Type in words or phrases you remember into the address bar and Firefox will pull up URL’s of sites you most frequently visit so, rather than having to remember http://www.mybankhastheworstwebsiteaddressinhistory.com/killmeintheface, you’ll just need to remember “bank” and Firefox will assist. If you’re absent-minded like me, this will prove to be a time savior. Nice.
Drop the slow-browsing succubus that is Internet Explorer and upgrade to a browser worthy of your gear-obsessed searching.

I'd like to point out that Firefox is still my favorite browser, hands down. HOWEVER….
You can't print flash content from Firefox. For web designers like me who are constantly trying to get content approved and edited, this is a major setback. Safari, and even IE can print flash content. I've added this suggestion to "suggested features" in the past, but to no avail.
I downloaded the update yesterday. I do think that 3.5 is faster and I haven't encountered any objectionable bugs yet.
Anyone else notice the IE8 and Google Chrome ads on this page? Haven't used Chrome, how does it compare?
Google chrome is pretty fast as well. I use both.
I'd like to see speed tests v. this and safari 4. Web browsers have evolved so much in the last year.
chrome is nice, very clean look. no many bugs at at all.. only one i can find is not being able to use control F aka "search". you have to click on the tool icon to search within a page. Internet explorer is to cluttered for me.
