There's no link between the two, just some overlap in fabric selection. Also, moderntailor.com makes made to measure shirts. They take the closest fitting standard size and adjust it. You might as well buy a cheaper shirt at Target and bring it to a seamstress.

I am so impressed with both Gear Patrol and the fashion correspondent, Torrey McMurray. I see he has a wedding band, so I assume he's married. What a looker. His excellent critiques are also great. He is so knowledgeable and my husband has actually followed his leading. Thanks for your sit!!! Keep it coing.

Torrey - Thank you for the kind words and detailed review; the pictures look great and the shirt fits you beautifully.

James - It’s good to hear from you and thank you for pointing out bespoke and made-to-measure are not the same; there is a difference.

Shubs and Patrick – Gentlemen, feel free to email any question you have to me personally at Antonio “at” A TailoredSuit.com. I always make time to talk with men interested in style.

I don’t like to get into the debate about what is true bespoke and what is true made-to-measure – there are forums that debate this point to ad nauseum. What I do know is that A Tailored Suit takes as many as 40+ measurements which we incorporate into a unique pattern for ever client. We look at a man’s build, complexion, and tastes when helping him design and build suits & shirts that will compliment his individual style. We know that our fabrics are what we say they are, we use only quality materials such as mother of pearl buttons and hand-packed shoulder pads, and pay attention to the details such as hand-sewn buttonholes and boutonnière loops. My team and I strive for the finest virtual tailoring available – what you choose to call it is your decision.

Best regards,

Antonio
President, A Tailored Suit

I'm definitely contemplating picking something up from them but pay close attention to the brand/mill for my fabric.

I'm a frequent customer of A Tailored Suit and would like to correct you on one point. Their shirts are most definitely not made to measure. Made to measure shirts use a pre-cut pattern of the closest standard size that is then trimmed and sewn to the measurements. Bespoke shirts (and suits) are made completely from scratch for the individual. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bespoke

In the US it is a common mistake that is made due primarily to supposed "high end" clothiers like Brooks Bros. who intentionally skew the meaning to sell more clothes.
