Uh, I hate to be the "Water Skeptic" . . . but . . . it's water. New Zealand may, in some few places, have very pure water. But that's also the case in hundreds (even thousands) of other places. Especially when you look at aquifers. And I'm sure New Zealand also has plenty of dirty water, just like everywhere else.

Water can be filtered or purified without that much difficulty (or cost) these days, and why anyone would spend $5 per liter for *water*, well, the logic of it is beyond my comprehension. I mean, I'm sure it tastes good. . . but $5 good? I've got a nice filter system. Water from it tastes great. I've had people complement it before, and it never has any unpleasant tastes or odors. It costs me about 2.4 cents ($0.024) per liter. Oh, and it doesn't need to be flown or driven around to reach me, either. And mine doesn't litter our landfills with empty bottles.

Of course it's "just another overpriced bottle of water". "Premium" bottled water is a marketing gimmick. The actual cost of the water is negligible compared to the cost of the packaging, marketing, product transport, etc. Oh, and the environmental impact of the billions of bottles in our landfills.
