Byrd & belle gadget (iPod) cases are near-sublime in their simplicity. Made from recycled wool from surplus military wool trousers, your iPod, (iPhone, iPod Touch on request) will find itself sheathed in green print cotton with a bit of padding, and secured by a leather snap strap made from… a recycled car seat.

Unlike other iPod cases made en masse, the Byrd & Belle Recycled Wool iPod Cases are made to order (5-7 days) and in limited supply. That is, unless you happen to have an extra pair of wool trousers and leather car seat lying around. You are reading Gear Patrol so maybe you just might for that other restoration project. More photos after the jump.

Cost: $18
