Thanks to all of you who spoke up in favor of your favorite children’s charity in our recent NERF Charity Giveaway. Many great causes were nominated, all well-deserving of your support. One, however, stood out to us, both in the excellence of their mission and in the sheer volume of support they received. For this, the Penn State Hershey Four Diamonds Fund wins our NERF stash!

The mission of The Four Diamonds Fund is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children treated at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and their families through superior care, comprehensive support, and innovative research. Their having helped more than 2,000 families since 1972, we’d say the Four Diamonds Fund will make any excellent recipient of our foamy prize. Clearly they are doing good work and have a great community around them who bolstered them to the win.

Keep your eyes peeled for our next Gear Patrol Giveaway; we’ve got more great stuff coming for you, or readers, to win.
