gear-patrol-for-goodAnyone whose been following Gear Patrol for sometime should know by now that we’re all about helping our fellow man. So when one of our long time readers asked for our help in raising money for the The Leukemia Society, it was a no brainer.

After joining the non-profit Team in Training to raise awareness and funds to help fight Leukemia, Matt’s been training for a 100 mile bike ride which starts on November 14, and pledged to raise $3,000. He’s currently half way there and needs support in raising the last $1,500 bucks with a month left to go.

If you’ve got cash to spare and want to put it towards a great cause, follow this link to submit your tax deductible donation. Besides being able to donate quickly and securely, the link will also let you learn more about his training (800+ miles in the past two months) and fundraising progress.

Each donation helps accelerate the research for finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and the 50 variations of blood cancer. Currently, more than 820,000 people are battling blood cancer and Matt’s participation in Team In Training will help bring them and their families some hope and support.
