I've been to Imogene + Willie. Absolutely phenomenal shop. Every Thursday they have a singer-songwriter play in their courtyard out back with a bonfire and an artisan taco truck comes by for dinner. They have a pinewood derby coming up in a few weeks. And oh yeah, they sell fantastic denim that is made right there in the shop, as well as a really well-curated selection of new and vintage stuff. Combine that with incredibly friendly owners and staff, and if you're ever in Nashville it is absolutely not to be missed.

    Greg,

Thanks a ton for filling us in! Place sounds awesome. Makes me wish I was still in TN so I could hit it up. Did you get a pair of the jeans?

    -Jon

  • Greg says:

I haven't bought a pair yet, my law student budget doesn't quite cover them, but they're a lot more reasonable than most "premium" denim. And these are actually quality, rather than a lot of the BS at this price. My friend did buy a pair and loves them, he's new to the raw denim game and is really getting into it.

  • Jon_Gaffney says:

Very cool. I am new to the raw denim game as well, but it is wicked interesting. Wish I lived closer, love to check out a pair. Let us know if you squirrel away enough on the law school budget and snag a pair, would love to get your impressions.

    Cheers,

    Jon
