While this coffee table might not fit with everyday living room style, its internal storage is surprisingly practical. Made to hide various living sundries inside the table itself, the design’s rising surface panels also make convenient eating stations for those with small apartments who frequently find themselves dining couch side. All pragmatism aside though, we’re not ashamed to admit that it was the ultra modern look of this table that caught our eyes in the first place. Pictured here in a white lacquer finish with brushed steel trim, other less ostentatious versions are available in brown walnut or black-stained veneer. Although if you’re actually going to spend $950 bucks on a coffee table, why not buy something that really stands out? For picture of the tables discrete storage talents, hit the jump.

Cost: $949
