The Vincent In The Barn
Seek and Ye Shall Find

Author Tom Cotter’s trilogy of vintage vehicle tomes are great reads – and nearly impossible to put down. After all, who among us doesn’t dream of finding a long-forgotten Ferrari or a classic Indian motorcycle collecting dust in some old codger’s shed just before it hits the estate sale?
Cotter’s latest book, the Vincent in the Barn (preceded by The Cobra in the Barn, and The Hemi in the Barn) consists of 39 tales of motorcycle archaeology – including the account of how Jay Leno added another ultra-rare Vincent Black Shadow to his collection of motorcycles, and the story of a group of motorcycle and auto collectors who were lured to Russia by con-artists, evaded bodily harm by mobsters, yet brought home a covey of valuable WW II-vintage cycles from makers including Harley, BMW, Indian, and Matchless, not to mention a priceless Mercedes-Benz Aktion P armored car used by the Nazis. Foreword by David Edwards, Editor-in-Chief of Cycle World magazine.
