shawlOwning a couple of quality sweaters is a must to round out your winter wardrobe. If you’re looking for a new addition to the rotation we’d direct your attention to 3Sixteen’s new Shawl Collar. Traditionally styled for the outdoorsman or fisherman looking to keep their neck warm, the shawl collar has moved into the mainstream over the last few years and we’re happy that it has. It looks great, it’s warm, and women seem to like them; all in all, it won’t do you wrong.

3Sixteen’s version is made of a midweight cotton knit and it’s perfect for layering without causing you to sweat like Youk on a summer night, key in the office or on a date. The gray color also compliments jeans, khakis, or slacks (not gray ones, obviously), to give you some real versatility. What really sells us on this particular Shawl Collar sweater is the toggle at the neck, which offers the perfect touch of character.

Cost: $155
