It does have quite an appetite for batteries, but that can be mitigated with good rechargeables. The only gripe that I had with the keyboard was that while typing on it once I accidentally twisted it, which caused it to crack. While that would normally be a detractor, one quick call to Adesso later and I had a brand new one. The keyboard wouldn't have broken but for my own actions, and it proved that Adesso has some of the best service in the consumer peripherals market. I would highly recommend.
