Smush Can Self-Powered Trash Compactor

Personally Fight Back Your Trash

By Ben Bowers on 1.22.10

smush-can-self-powered-trash-compactor-2If you’re looking to eliminate those frequent runs to the larger garbage can out back from your daily exercise routine, the Smush Can may just be your ace in the hole.

Described as a “Self-Powered Trash Compactor”, like other trash compactors, the Smush Can is designed to maximize can space by crushing built up garbage into denser blocks. However, as the “self” bit of the title hints, the smushing power of the can comes from you, instead of at the push of a button.

Thanks to smart design, this compacting feature won’t leave you fiending for a bath in Purel though. Instead, it’s specially crafted lid allows users to push down without ever touching garbage. Which may be good news for your shoes as well.

With compacting, lazy folks will be pleased to know this large 10.5 gallon trash can will hold two times more garbage than its non compacting brethren. In other words that’s a lot less trips in the middle of ball games. It also features a standard foot pedal for hands free opening and closing. Unfortunately, that last detail may irk those of you who prefer to dispose of things via the jump shot.
