It’s no secret that there is a massive cottage industry producing accessories and the like for the full range of Apple’s coveted products. In fact, it seemed that only seconds after the iPad was officially announced, it was possible to order protective sleeves, a bevy of adapters, and maybe even themed pet fashions dedicated to the device. Still, there’s no one better at outfitting your MacGizmos than iSkin. For those still hovering over a physical keyboard of the Apple variety, their ProTouch keyboard protectors are a godsend.
Having tested several such covers in the past, I can definitively say that none fits as well as or produces a tactile response equal to that of the ProTouch. Since they do so well at protecting against spills and falling debris that might cripple your ability to ROFL, it’s nice to know that these protectors are fully washable and embedded with Microban for antimicrobal protection (getting your back against the crud you can’t see). Our favorite feature that’s been integrated into the new FX series is the LED backlight-friendly design, allowing your Mac’s backlit keyboard to shine through in all its glory. Sticky, crap-filled keyboards, your days are numbered.
