Long time Gear Patrol readers may remember our first mention of this new martial arts classic back in our feature on Five Foreign Films Every Man Should Watch. Finally released earlier this week on Blu-ray, if you haven’t had the chance to watch it yet, now is the time. Presented stateside by Quentin Tarantino, besides simply being in Hi Def, this two disc special edition Blu-ray is packed with extras including the original Thai verision. This verision runs about 30 minutes longer than the U.S. release and features a variety of obsurd scenes American audiences never saw, including the hammer throwing of a baby elephant.
