Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f/1.4G ED
Nikon's Ultimate Wide-Angle Lens
Prime lenses are a dangeorusly expensive addiction. From the moment you snap one onto your SLR/DSLR, fire off a shot, and revel in the Barry White smooth BOKEH, you’re hooked. As a matter of fact, just leave the ultra-wide zooms at home. The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f/1.4G ED is Nikon’s fastest, wide-angle, FX compatible lens (e.g. D700, D3s). It features Nano Crystal Coat construction with a boat load of glass (two ED and two aspherical lens elements) controlled by Nikon’s ultra-fast silent wave motor. With a max aperture of f/1.4 the NIKKOR’s forté is capturing massive landscapes, architecture, and cramped indoor spaces with an almost technical apathy for ambient light. It practically begs for a Grand Canyon photo run at dusk.
