Hammarhead Industries Jack Pine Motorcycle

Repurposed Heritage, Purposefully.

By Eric Yang on July 6, 2010

Helmed by James Hammarhead (awesome name), Philadelphia, PA based Hammarhead Industries has a singular focus: create minimalist modern motorcycles in the spirit of iconic 1950′s design through repurposing and recycling. If the Triumph Scrambler based Jack Pine ($14,500) is a product of that manifesto then bring it on, we say. Torquing hard at our bike-strings, the 865cc Jack Pine is a refreshingly straightforward affair. Its 90 day build process includes a mechanical reworking to include: Keihin CR carburetors, modified K&N air filter, Specialty Spares with MAMotorworks exhaust, suspension upgrades, Race Tech Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators front suspension, and Works Performance Steel Trackers rear suspension. Hammarhead then mounts a pair of meaty Continental Twinduro tires, and applies matte black paint. The effect is meaty stunningness. A perfect pairing to your TLC Icon CJ3B.
