Dedicated to an actual British troop ship that sank off the coast of St. Kitts in 1782 Shipwreck Rum ($16) combines a premium 4 year old molasses based, oak barrel aged rum with infusions of natural orange, vanilla, nutmeg, clove and exotic island spices. While Shipwreck Rum has the complexity to stand alone with a few cubes of ice, we found that the spicy clove and nutmeg start followed by a mellow vanilla finish was perfect for mixing a mean Highball (cola or ginger ale your choice).
