Cadillac ELR
It's Electric
Looks like things are getting electric at Caddy. The just announced Cadillac ELR (think: Chevy Volt goes to college) utilizes an electric propulsion system comprised of a lithium-ion battery, electric motors and a 4-cylinder engine/generator. Also, the aggressive look you’ve come to expect in modern-day Cadillacs makes its way to the ELR here in the form of a 2+2 coupe. The design is reminiscent of the CTS-V, a good thing, and should offset any wayward thoughts of owning an Escalade.
