Yeah, it’s a saw. We’re posting a hand saw and this is why. A guy needs to know his way around tools and being able to saw through a piece of wood is a necessary skill set.

The Lynx saw by the Garlick Saw Company of Sheffield England has a heritage of over 150 years. Each piece is handcrafted one at a time by an English craftsman. The steel alloy blade’s teeth are taper ground to a straight tooth line ensuring proper geometry (no binding = no strained shoulders). The handle is made of gorgeous American Black Walnut.

Kobalt is a new generation of tools that set function first never forgetting durability or aesthetics. I’m a bit of a do it yourself kind of guy and a good set of power tools never sets me off in the wrong direction. The 26-gallon compressor from Kobalt gives me 15mps and 3,900 RPM worth of power from a zero-maintenance, oil-free pump motor to power the 6 tools included with the kit. On to the tools…

The kit includes a twin hammer impact ratchet (your winter tires will be off in 2.5 seconds), cylinder professional hammer with quick change spring retainer, professional ratchet with twin pawl, paint sprayer, 25 foot air hose, and a slew of accessories.

The winter is almost over but foggy windshields will still plague a lot of guys and their rides, especially if they don’t have the luxury of parking in a garage. Unless you have one of the few cars that have a defrosting windshields (e.g. Land Rover) then watching your car’s regular A/C defroster to clear the windows is an excruciating process, especially when you’re in a morning rush.

The TTi supplants the XTi as Leatherman’s top-of-the-line multitool. Not only is the TTi .10 ounces lighter than the XTi, but it also packs an S30V stainless steel knife that delivers an optimal combination of edge retention, flexibility, and hardness. This is an upgrade from the XTi’s 154CM steel knife, which previously was the highest grade knife you could get from Leatherman (incidentally, Leatherman outfitted the Charge ALX and AL come with 154CM blades, an upgrade from the standard 420 series knife). The TTi also has a crimper and a cutting hook. The crimper is an ideal accessory for anyone working with electrical wires or metals, while the hook is a fantastic addition for those who need to be ready for emergency situations.
