A certain cachet factor lies in products that age well. Somehow they justify the barrier of entry that oft lies in the price. The J.Crew Cotton-Linen Artisan’s Duffel bar is a sophisticated bag waiting for your overnight or weekend trip. The leather is vegetable-tanned and hand-finished that will patina nicely and the double-layer heavyweight linen/cotton canvas. There’s just the right amount of solid brass hardware accentuated by the heavyweight cord stitching.

TAG Heuer’s foray into sunglasses has been sublime. Their approach towards, what they deem, avant-garde eyewear has fallen under the radar to many but overlooking their frames would be a shame. The Reflex 2007 is our choice. A frame with tailor made comfort due to it’s beta titanium temples coated with a soft-touch elastomer mould that fits the curve of any face: narrow, wide, flat or angular.

What this means to you: Perfect for the slopes, golf, or wearing about town - the TAG Heuer Reflex will literally disappear on your face. Now, that’s comfort.

If you’re looking for some men’s jewelry with a sense of style and edginess, then there aren’t a lot of options out there that dont’ seem either contrived or too mainstream.

Sugarcrane is a brand you should consider for your wardrobe. With a design seemingly inspired from European crests, the designs at Sugarcrane give off a vibe of understated power while looking sharp and unique. At $775 we recommend you have a few other bags in your repertoire first before looking into this but if you are in the market for a nice alternative to the ubiquitous messenger and weekender bag then the Aaron Barak Duffel is for you. Beyond it’s rich brown vegetable tanned analine leather, duffel structuring and woven lining the bag has antiqued brass hardware for a great vintage look.

After a month with this in tote we appreciate the individuality of the bag, handcrafted construction and the strong masculine look that can’t be confused for something you’d see from Banana Republic or J.Crew. The duffel has been perfect for our trips, abroad and gym alike. We look forward to the natural aging of the bag as it begins to patina. The Aaron Barak Duffel is about 20″ x 10″ in dimension.

What this means to you: This bag is certainly not cheap, but it is certainly justified in it’s price. Now, the only thing we need is to justifiably get a bigger paycheck.
