On your face, or on my grill (as shown here), the Maui Jim Peahis are sharp.
As a guy that reads GP you must know the importance of eye protection. You probably own a pair of stylish sunglasses already that compliment your facial features. I trust you don’t have a pair of drug store brand aviators sitting on your dresser either, so I probably don’t need to tell you that Maui Jim makes glasses that protect your eyes and look good.
For those of you in the market for a new pair of shades, check out the Maui Jim Peahis. These fashion forward frames pack the same polarized lens technology that made Maui Jim famous. That means you don’t have to worry about direct glare, reflected glare, or bounce back glare. It also means your eyes will be protected from UVA, UVB, and UVC rays… and that my friends is important. I’ll admit these frames are a bit heavier than the titanium framed Waileas that I’m used to, but these also look a lot cooler. Still, I’ve worn these frames comfortably for the first three days of a cross country road trip (Ed: In case you didn’t know Marc is relocating from New York to San Diego) and I plan on wearing them the rest of the way.

Submarine Grade Steel On Your Wrist
Swiss and Japanese brands tend to dominate the conversation when it comes to watches. However there are other brands out there that deserve praise. Take for instance Sinn, a German watch company known for its many exclusive technologies, unique designs, and expert craftsmanship.
One of their most popular models is the Sinn U1 - a 44mm diving watch you can truly appreciate. You get many of the typical features found in other high-end dive watches three to four times the price: a uni-directional ratcheting bezel, sapphire crystal, automatic movement and, of course, superb water resistance.
So what else makes the Sinn U1 great? Submarine steel. It’s made from the same special steel used to construct submarines, making the watch both anti-magnetic and also resistant to salt water corrosion. Things you want in a diving watch.

Sharp English Style. Little U.S. Money.
You may have never realized it was gone, but the classic Lands’ End Canvas Field Coat is back due to popular demand. That’s a good thing.
For fifty bucks you can get yourself into a sharp looking rugged coat made of lightweight canvas and flannel plaid lining. The front patch pockets even have handwarmer pockets above them. Looks best in Spice Brown, Hazlenut or traditional Coronet Gold.
Editor’s Tip: Hunting attire is actually making a splash in men’s fashion, but take my advice and use sparingly. Pair the Lands’ End Canvas Field Coat with a properly weighted Fall shirt, wool slacks and a tie. You’ll pull off English Countryside without looking like a cliché.
Cost: $50 @ Lands’ End

Serious Water Footwear for the Boating Professional
Men’s Submersible Boot

Sure, we shot this in a bathtub, but one wear and you might start wearing it in the tub too.
For the serious sailor or kayaker, footwear doesn’t get any better than this. In fact these submersible boots, made of genuine quick drying neoprene, were designed in conjunction with the US Sailing Team. Critical features include internal toe post and toe wrap for added balance and stability, and a non marking rubber outsole, making sure your swashbucklery leaves your deck still gleaming.
In terms of comfort, all I will divulge is that our resident Sports and Fitness guru Patrick Tuttle was caught wearing the Submersible Boots around in his living room, absorbed in an intense round of GTA IV. A disturbing yet somewhat appropriate scene, to say the least.
Figawi Rubber Boot

No amount of water shall stop ye.
Despite mimicking the traditional style of a rain boot, thanks to its non-marking super-tack rubber outsole with quadro-grip traction, you’re guaranteed sure footing even in the most precarious of conditions. The Figawi Rubber Boots are also designed to maintain warmth and from our tests on and off the water are quite comfortable, to boot. The traditional styling of navy color with white trim excudes a classic persona perfect for this Fall’s wardrobe. Inclement weather be dammed.

A Wallet Befitting Of Your Back Left Pocket

A brand you may have not thought to purchase, consider Burberry in black.
There are a few essential accessories every man owns and uses every day and a good wallet is one of them. And it’s about time to upgrade that old velcro tri-fold you’ve been packing since college. Not to mention working-out that outline in the back left pocket of your jeans. Something women aren’t too hot on… trust me, I’ve looked into it.
The Burberry Brit Check wallet is construted with PVC and a soft Italian leather interior. It holds three credit cards on each side and has one large bill pocket in the back. Best part is that the classic Burberry Brit check is in sleek black and doesn’t scream for brand recognition. Something, GP strongly un-endorses.
What this means to you: Next time you’re reaching for the bill at the company dinner, pay for it with some subtle style.
