We’re not sure where to start with this thing. It conjures up nostalgic hot rod feelings, mixes them up with a pinch of superbike then mashes that with one major dallop of WTF.
We suppose that’s what you get when you mix a fiberglass body molded into a retro shape and throw in a 1250cc v-twin engine from Harley-Davidson. Attach a 5-speed transmission, requisite street-legal accoutrements, and a trunk. Yes, it has a trunk up front. [via]

Somewhere in between a classic motorcycle, a European movie and the future lies the Enertia.
A bike culturally and technologically appropriate to the current day.
Using a high output electrical motor charged through a regular outlet the Enertia bike powers itself to a top speed of 50 mph over a range of 45 miles on a single 3 hour charge. The electric drive train and carbon fiber monocoque chassis ensure very little maintenance over time. There are dozens of other details we’re not listing here, but let your imagination run wild with thoughts and just know they’re probably all included here.
What this means to you: If you’re lucky enough to live somewhere where this type of transportation is appropriate and safe (read: big cities), then the Enertia bike should be on your horizon.

The Hypermotard 1100 takes on urban canyons and attacks mountain curves with total abandon. Its purpose is single-minded: to thrill.
Its ‘motard’ styling and stance combine with Ducati’s ‘sportsbike’ smooth and powerful L-Twin engine to deliver the best of both these two motorcycling worlds.
