The new M3 has grown up. More of a GT than a racer, it will deliver it’s promise of go-fast stop-fast and turn-fast. BMW’s bread and butter inline six is now 30-pound-lighter, 4.0-liter V8 pulled from the M5 V10.

• It produces 420 hp at 8300 rpm, and 295 lb-ft at 3900 rpm
• Redlines at 8400, and AW promises an exhaust growl to die for.
• Six speed manual available.

What this means to you: This is a demon car that will continue to set the benchmark in this category and class of cars. We suggest holding off on dropping the cash to reserve one of these beauties as the Mercedes CLK63 Black Series, and Audi RS5 may offer a qualified competitor.

Carlsson, one of the top tuners for Mercedes Benz has lift the curtains to unveil the CK35 tuning kit for the newly introduced Mercedes C-Class.

From the Carlsson Press Release:

• Race-proven CK35 performance kit with 217 kW (295 bhp) and 385 Nm
• Dynamic and striking Carlsson aerodynamic parts of high-grade PUR
• Luxurious interior using top-quality materials

Other highlights include an updated air filter and exhaust system, giving the sedan a estimated 0-60mph time of six seconds along with a sensual and aggressive growl coming from the twin double-barrel tips.

Carlsson has also prepared an incredible looking bodykit for the C. It incorporates new skirting all around, including a rear diffuser in the rear bumper. 19″ Brilliant Edition wheels add the proverbial cherry on top of this Teutonic sundae.

What this means to you: The effervescent C-Class has not got some bit to it, but it will come at a premium. A premium enthusiasts will most definitely notice and appreciate.
