Emily Deschanel deserves an Oscar. Not for her performance on the show Bones, but an Oscar for her eyes. Yes, her eyes dammit. They’re performance is unparalleled, not to mention outrageously seductive. And like any great performance, we wouldn’t mind having to gaze into them (or her 5′9″ frame) for the better part of our lives.

Emily Erin Deschanel, born October 11, 1976 in Los Angeles lives in both LA and New York and graduated from Boston University. She is sister to actress and nerd heartbreaker, Zooey Deschanel, daughter of cinematographer Caleb Deshanel and actress Mary Jo Deschanel, but most importantly our significant other (in dreams).

We weren’t sure how to approach this week’s Gear Girl, but felt compelled to note that Gear Patrol’s Editor, Eric, has an outspoken ‘thing’ for Jordana Brewster. (Oh, you didn’t think we knew did you Eric). Normally, not one to make much hullabaloo when we select a Gear Girl, Eric tried to measure restraint when Jordana Brewster’s name arose, but I saw it in his eyes… So here we are, obliging his obvious affinity for Brewster (she is smoldering, regardless) and selected her as this week’s Gear Girl.

Jordana Brewster was born in Panama City by way of London and Brazil, but joined the populous of New York City, later graduating from Yale University (Yale.) in 2003. As a former soap opera star on All My Children, which explains Eric’s random disappearances during daytime hours, Brewster has been seen in The Fast and the Furious, which explains the DVD in Eric’s collection, and a few other movies of little consequence. Jordana is married (to Eric’s chagrin, no doubt) to producer, Andrew Form.

Makes you want to just get up and getaway to the beaches of Brazil, doesn’t it. Some of you may know Fernanda Tavares from her job as a VJ on MTV Brasil, but most will recognize (or not) her from her modeling stints with nearly every fashion brand we can think of, and why wouldn’t you? Pardon us as we try to figure out how to turn ourselves into moss. That or Andy Roddick. Brooklyn Decker who not only has one of the best names we’ve heard in a long time is also Roddick’s fiancee. Decker graces the pages of 2008’s Sports Illustrated. Born April 12, 1987 (yeah…) the blonde beauty hails from Middletown, Ohio where she’s decidedly anything but ‘middle’.

Like a fine wine, things get better with time. Now that Anne Hathaway has graduated from her Princess Diary days and moved onto films like Havoc, Brokeback Mountain and The Devil Wears Prada (admit it, you’ve seen it) we can better appreciate the New York native. You can see her tonight in the movie Get Smart alongside Steve Carrel and Dwayne Johnson (formerly known as The Rock). This writer had a particular hesitation with the movie because of a personal affinity for the original Don Adams series, but after seeing a sneak preview he can safely say that the movie is entertaining and Anne Hathaway is for lack of better word, hot.

Here’s something you might have not known. Anne Hathaway was to star in Knocked Up, before dropping out at the last minute and replaced by Katherine Heigl.
