As of now, the 212 horsepower Ford Fiesta ST200 is on the list of potentially fantastic hot hatches America won’t get. But with Ford’s current global strategy, there may still be a glimmer of hope.

Abarth 124 Spider

The Fiat 124 Spider didn’t exactly set the world on fire when it was unveiled earlier this year. The Mazda MX-5, which shares the same platform, is lighter and much better looking. But now the tuned Abarth 124 Spider is looking to compensate with more power and a racier body.

Corvette Grand Sport

If you wanted a track-focused Corvette, but the ZO6 was out of your price range, the all-new Corvette Grand Sport may be your best bet. And with 460 naturally aspirated horses and a six-speed manual, you won’t feel like you’re “settling” at all.

Morgan EV3

Morgan has a reputation for building cars looking like they just drove out of the 1940s. But, oddly enough their new electric three-wheeler, the EV3, looks like an instant classic and is poised to lead the charge for Morgan into the 21st century.

Zenvo TS1 and TSR

Danish supercar manufacturer Zenvo has made some changes to its original ST1 supercar. The New TS1 now gets (aside from an entirely different name) two superchargers in lieu of the ST1’s old turbo and supercharger setup, a new front splitter, rear wing and a better quality interior. A track-focused concept version of the TS1 dubbed the TSR also debuted, with more aggressive aero and a stripped-out interior.

Porsche 911R

As Porsche continues to bring more tech and efficiency to the 911, they’ve just unveiled a new version that takes the stalwart car back to its analog roots. Dubbed the 911R, it features a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six putting out 500 horsepower, a six-speed manual transmission, a vintage-inspired interior and stripes.

Koenigsegg Regera

Not to let Bugatti have all the glory, Koenigsegg unveiled its latest supercar, the Regera, which packs a 5.0-liter turbo V8 working conjunction with three electric motors to produce a whopping 1,500 horsepower. Weighing in at 3,589 pounds it’s capable of 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 249 mph.

Alfa Romeo Giulia

Alfa has unveiled a more pedestrian version of its insane Giulia Quadrifolgio. Instead of the 510 horsepower twin-turbo V6 version the standard Giulia will feature a variety of 2.0-liter gasoline engines producing anywhere from 180 to 330 horsepower, as well as a range of 2.2 turbodiesel engines ranging between 135 horsepower to 210 horsepower.

Alfa Romeo Disco Volante Spyder

Italian coach builder Touring Superleggera had their way with the already gorgeous Alfa Romeo 8C Spider and made it even more stunning. The car is built from carbon panels bonded to the original 8C’s steel spaceframe as well as aluminum doors and wings that have been hand-beaten into shape.

Maserati Levante

Maserati has been teasing the possibility of an SUV since the Kubnag concept in 2003 — 13 years later they’ve finally delivered with the Levante. It’s based on the same architecture as the Quattroporte and Ghibli and will come with a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine in both 345 horsepower and 424 horsepower guises, sending power to all four wheels via Maserati’s Q4 all-wheel-drive system.

Spyker C8 Preliator

Dutch automaker Spyker is back with the Spyker C8 Preliator, an absolutely gorgeous, hand-built mid-engine supercar. It makes 525 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque courtesy of an Audi-sourced 4.2-liter V8, which is mated with a six-speed manual gearbox. The aviation-inspired exterior is stunning, but so is the interior, which features plenty of lush leather and polished metal accents.

Arash AF10

Usually a battery-combustion hybrid system’s power would be biased toward the gas-burning engine. But this extreme British rocket sled’s 6.2-liter supercharged V8 pumps out 900 horsepower, while four electric motors add a massive 1,180 horsepower on top of that for a grand total of over 2,000 horsepower.

Bentley Mulsanne

The biggest (and best) revision Bentley made to their top-end Mulsanne is a revised design, which cleans up the front fascia. Until now, in order to fit more bodies into your chauffeured Bentley you’d have to stuff someone in the trunk (which is still more luxurious than most people’s cars); but now the elite can pick up a bespoke stretched version (from 18 feet to 21) to seat four in opulent comfort.

Pagani Huayra BC

Five years after the Huayra debuted at Geneva, it’s back at the show with a brand-new edition. Featuring a huge wing, massive new wheels and a so-far-undisclosed amount of power (probably near 800 horsepower) from its Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12, the BC is everything we like in a car: more.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet

Dimensionally, and in almost every other way (power, transmissions, etc.) the C-Class cabriolet is identical to its fixed-roof twin. The droptop can raise or lower in 20 seconds at up to 31 mph, which is great news if you are the least patient person on earth.

Citroen E-Tense

This 400 horsepower, all-electric coupe is poised to take on BMW’s i8 — in concept and design. The E-Tense is lightweight too, thanks to a carbon fiber monocoque, and should silently blast to 60 mph in about 4.5 seconds.

Toyota C-HR

Toyota’s hybrid crossover shows a somewhat new styling direction — one that’s far less subdued than current offerings. Originally shown as a Scion, the C-HR has been rebadged and is poinsed to come to the US to compete in the crowded small crossover segment.

Ferrari GTC4 Lusso

The FF is no more: its successor beat it to death, and he dresses way, way better. A thorough (90 percent) redesign of Ferrari’s four-seat super tourer boasts a 680 horsepower V12 that still provides power to all four wheels, all of which steer for maximum control.

Gumpert — the independent German supercar maker you probably never heard of — is back, and it has come packing a new version of their original Apollo supercar. Dubbed the Apollo Arrow, it features more aerodynamic styling than its predecessor and a highly tuned Audi V8 that is projected to produce 1,000 horsepower.

Legendary Italian design house Pininfarina have come up with a concept that lets your speed demon and eco-friendly sides live in harmony. The Pininfarina H2 Speed is a 500 horsepower hydrogen-powered track monster. The atmosphere may be safe, but tires sure won’t be.

When it comes to 1000+ horsepower all-electric concept cars, most seem like just that: concepts. But Croatia-based supercar uspstart and battery-engineering firm Rimac has come forward with not one, but two production versions for their all-electric AWD super cars.
