To say that cycling isn’t a hobby or a type of recreation, but rather a lifestyle, is both true and admittedly a little bit annoying. Cyclists build their weekends around the group ride, they shave their legs, and they stream obscure European races while sipping espresso or drinking craft beer. They use shrouded jargon like “vertical compliance” and make a reference to “UCI regulations” in everyday conversation. They tend to own at least three bikes, somtimes many more.
