New year, new team, new bike, same World Champion. Peter Sagan won his second world title in a row this past year and is set to light up the peloton again in 2017 aboard a brand-new Specialized S-Works Venge. The bike is more or less unchanged from the previous model, except for the paint scheme. Specialized’s lead road designer Ron Jones selected a paint that is mostly black, but exhibits prismatic colors when the light hits it — representing the rainbow stripes of the world champion jersey. It’s subtly flashy in all the right ways.

If all goes according to plan, Sagan will make his race debut on the new bike at Australia’s Tour Down Under on January 15.
