Good morning. Time crystals are now a thing that actually exists. This week, Harvard physicists announced the discovery of time crystals, which are essentially an entirely new state of matter that exists only on the plane of time, not of space. It’s a hard thing to wrap your head around. For the sake of simplicity, just imagine a glowing nugget of cosmic light at the top of a wizard’s staff. Now imagine that wizard using said magical staff to usher in a new era of quantum computing. That’s a time crystal.
