Amazon Prime Day is officially upon us and in full swing. There are almost too many good deals to sift through and capitalize on, but lucky for you, some of the Gear Patrol team already has. Prime Day will be over before you know it; for a quick start, take a look at some Prime Day deals that caught our eye.

Miele Classic C1 Olympus Canister Vacuum Cleaner

Deal starts at 1:39 p.m. This might be the most boring pick of the lot, but I’m a sucker for a great household appliance. When it comes to brawny dust suckers, Miele (pronounced mee-luh) is the BMW of suck (pronounced vaa-qume). Also, after a couple of hard-learned lessons with Dyson handhelds, I can say for sure that a Canister is the way to go. It’s the closest thing to having a built-in whole-home vacuum system. The Classic C1 (in white) is a well-designed ace of an appliance. Bet I can beat you to the click, though. – Eric Yang, Editor in Chief

GoldCoast Salvo Cruiser 27 Inch

I’m on the hunt for a healthy middle ground between my bamboo longboard and my plastic shortboard. This handsome, maple/bamboo combo might just be it. – Caitlyn Shaw, Social Media Coordinator

Stasher Reusable Silicone Food Bag, Sandwich Bag, Sous-Vide Bag

I’m not one for impulse buys, preferring to think purchases through for a few days or weeks (often to a fault). I view Prime Day, much like Black Friday, as an opportunity to stock up on practical, utilitarian basics. Stasher’s food-safe silicone bags are impressively multi-functional — great for storing leftovers, workday lunches or weekend snacks, and they can be used for sous-vide cooking. 20% off may not be massive savings, but it’s enough reason to stock up. – Emily Singer, Associate Staff Writer

Mountainsmith Genesee 4 Person 3 Season Tent

A freestanding four-person tent for $115? Yes please. Mountainsmith’s Genesee tent will be durable and vent, well and it even has reflective guy lines so you won’t trip on the stakes at night. It’s perfect for any car camping adventure. – Jeremy Fischer, Editorial Intern

Coleman Powersports CT200U Gas Powered Mini Trail Bike

I love things that encourage dumbassery. All that’s missing is a pint of whiskey, an Evel Knievel cape and a defibrillator.
Michael Finn, Associate Staff Writer

KEF LS50 Mini Monitor

It’s not a huge discount but KEF’s mini monitors are some of the best you can buy and just about never go on sale. If you’re in a bit of a Liberace mood or missed the black ones, the white ones are also going on sale at 5:35 – Henry Phillips, Deputy Photo Editor

Six Issues of Cycle World

Now that everything is digital, it’s tough to justify picking up a monthly subscription to a physical copy of a magazine. But to thumb through your favorite motorcycle magazine at only 99 cents — that’s hard to pass up. Bryan Cambell, Staff Writer

PUMA Men’s Court Breaker L Mono Sneaker

Monochromatic sneakers are incredibly versatile; pair them with practically anything in your closet and they’ll look great. For under $25, these Puma Court Breaker’s fit the bill without breaking the bank. – John Zientek, Style Writer

Huawei Mate 9

The Mate 9 is a solid flagship smartphone, and at just over $300, it’s a steal. – AJ Powell, Assistant Editor

Skywalker 14-Foot Square Trampoline

I don’t care how old you are, trampolines are fun. Sure, they’re also dangerous (I broke my leg on one at age fourteen), but they’re also very, very fun. – Tanner Bowden, Editorial Apprentice

All-New Element 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV

If you don’t have a 4K TV, this is a solid entry-level set. And for $400 (normally $650), it’s as close to a steal as you’re going to find. – Tucker Bowe, Associate Staff Writer
