Most office furniture is strictly utilitarian, lacking in personality and priding itself on function. As surfaced by Dezeen, design studio Another Country has released a collection of workplace furniture that occupies the opposite end of the spectrum. Constructed from warm, oak wood, the Work Series is made to look and feel analogous to domestic furniture, with work-ready details like a cable channel for easy access to outlets (with brass plugs to keep them out of sight when not in use), partition screens and storage compartments. The goal of the collection is to facilitate better work through more flexible, less clinical design, keeping work life in balance and put an end to Monday dread.
