The Junghans Meister Pilot

This New Chronograph from Junghans Nails Aviator Style

September 7, 2017 Watches By

Though most known for its iconically minimal Max Bill watch, Junghans has a propensity for making some more robust tool watches, too. Proof of that is the latest version of its Meister Pilot aviation chronograph. Junghans saw fit to equip the Meister Pilot case with a new diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating, giving it both a stealthy anthracite-like finish that’s far more scratch-resistant than standard stainless steel. Complimenting that case finish are two sunburst matte dial options, one in blue and another in brown, as well as a bi-directional rotating bezel. An automatic Swiss movement ticks away inside, with a Dubois Depraz 2030 chronograph module added on top. Junghans has not yet released details on pricing and availability.
