Deal: Bid on a Limited Reissue of the Omega Seamaster 300 60th Anniversary
We’ve partnered up again with our friends at StockX, the stock market of things, to offer an exciting deal on one of 2017’s hottest releases from Baselworld: the Omega Seamaster 300 60th Anniversary, part of the 1957 Trilogy Edition.
60 years ago Omega released three tool watches that went on to become icons, the Speedmaster, Seamaster 300 and Railmaster, and in celebrating the anniversary of that release the three were reissued in 2017 nearly identical to the originals. For that reissue, Omega took digital scans and blueprints to design the dials as authentic to the original as possible. Not a single detail was missed in the new release. The 39mm Seamaster 300 has the same broad arrow hands and typeface on the dial, the Naïad sign on the crown and Seahorse on the caseback, and to top it off, Omega added a “tropical” color and faded lume. On the interior is, of course, a completely modern Omega-built chronometer grade automatic movement.
With only 3,557 pieces available on the market, this is a tough one to find at your local retailer. If you did manage to snag one on the resale market, it would set you back somewhere north of $8,000, but StockX is letting you bid to buy one for $1,957. For a chance at this steal, head over to StockX, make an account, and then place a bid for $1,957 on this particular Omega Seamaster 300 60th Anniversary anytime between November 17th at noon EST and Nov 20th at 12pm EST.
If you’ve missed an intro to StockX before, the site launched in 2016 as a stock market for buying and selling sneakers and this year expanded its offering to include watches and handbags. Aside from leaning into credibility, all of the data from previous sales is available to StockX users, so the prices will always reflect reality (except in this case, of course).
