A Look Back at the New Gear We Discovered This Week
Incase NoviConnected 4 Wheel Hubless Travel Roller
Incase’s NoviConnected hard-sided suitcase anticipates and addresses every travel need, even the ones you aren’t aware of yet. It starts with a class-A Makrolon polycarbonate shell for protection, four smooth glide wheels for mobility, interior zip compartments for organization and a TSA approved lock. Then there are the unexpected details like an included exterior cover bag and laundry bag, a 4-stop trolly handle, a lifetime warranty on the luggage body and the wheels (which are also designed to be easily removed, FYI). But the real gamechanger is the app-controlled 10050 mAh battery bank that’s capable of recharging your iPhone multiple times or even giving USB-C powered laptops like the 15″ MacBook Pro up to 32% more use time. It’s also available in six color options and costs far less than many competing bags offering far fewer features.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic True Second Limited Edition
As e-commerce is becoming more commonplace in the luxury watch market, we’re seeing more and more brands capitalizing on the platform to sell unique models. Jaeger-LeCoultre, for example, has introduced a new version of the Geophysic True Second. The watch retains the jumping seconds (which ticks once a second like a quartz watch, but is far more complicated) movement and 39.5mm case of the original, but is bestowed with a new deep navy blue dial. It will be available on Jaeger-LeCoultre’s site exclusively starting December 5th. — Andrew Connor
Trek FX LTD Hybrid Bike
Trek’s latest bike, the FX LTD, is a crowd-pleaser. Depending on where you stand, the road bike is an affordable alternative for the cyclist who hasn’t quite committed, or it’s a performance-oriented city cruiser for the rider that goes farther than just A to B. Our take? It’s a road bike, and commuter bike wrapped up in one vintage-infused fast and lightweight setup. — Tanner Bowden
Outerknown Work Shirt
The newly released Work Shirt from Outerknown will be a good fit in any wardrobe. It’s made from six-ounce organic cotton herringbone fabric, and features reinforced chest pockets and a gusset detail at the side seam split. Montblanc Timewalker Manufacture Chronograph
Ahead of SIHH 2018, Montblanc unveiled the newest addition to its Timewalker collection: the Manufacture Chronograph. The watch takes on the same look as the standard Timewalker Chronograph but adds an in-house, column wheel chronograph movement (the standard Timewalker Chronograph uses a Sellita-based engine). On the outside, the watch also gets a vintage-inspired, black-on-white panda dial red accents and a black tachymeter bezel. The watch should go on sale in fall 2018 for around $5,900.— Andrew Connor

California Cowboy High Sierra Shirt
A versatile flannel overshirt is a winter wardrobe essential. If it’s designed for Après-ski, even better. California Cowboy’s High Sierra shirt is cut from soft premium flannel and lined with cotton-modal thermal fabric. It also boasts unique details like a reinforced bottle pocket (California Cowboy ships a bottle opener with each shirt too) and a water-resistant dry pocket for your smartphone. Finding the ski mountain and beer is still on you though.
2018 Lamborghini Urus
Lamborghini finally took the wraps off the 2018 Urus SUV, signaling a few firsts for the storied brand. It’s Lamborghini’s first SUV (though, they call it a “Super Sport Utility Vehicle”), it’s powered by the brand’s first V8 in 30 years, and it’s the first engine from Sant’Agata to be turbocharged. It’ll also be good for 650 hp and a 0-60 mph time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph, making it the fastest SUV on the market. — Bryan Campbell

Shockoe Atelier Selvedge Duck Canvas Pants
Available in olive and khaki colorways, these pants are made from 11 ounce selvedge duck canvas from Collect Mills. The silhouette is flattering on many body types — a mid-high rise, generous seat and thighs and a slightly taped leg — and the construction is top notch. The pants feature tonal stitching, leather backed rivets and buttons, lined back pockets and reinforced front pockets. If you’re looking to get something other than denim this season, these are your pants. — John Zientek

Salomon S/Lab Shift Ski Bindings
Skiers who want to explore the backcountry have always had to face one crucial decision: buy a second set of everything that’s dedicated to touring (expensive), or use a heavy frame binding that works at the resort, and out of bounds. Not anymore. Salomon’s new binding, the S/Lab Shift, is a true merger of lightweight backcountry and frontside downhill bindings. It’s highly engineered with 300 parts, but the real innovation is in the toe, which uses uphill climbing pins that snap in — transformer-style — when a skier is ready to go downhill. — Tanner Bowden
While Outlier is known for its technical garments and outerwear, the brand is bringing its performance-minded design to experimental home essentials. The new Outlier Indoors collection features a suite of cozy products for lounging around the house, including merino wool pajamas, an inflated linen blanket, grid linen towels and more.— Andrew Connor
Rapha Special Edition Wool Softshell Jacket
The result of a collaboration with Italian wool powerhouse Loro Piana, Rapha’s new wool softshell is about as lux as it gets. It’s highly water resistant and is perfect for winter cycling (though we won’t judge you if you wear it everywhere else too). — AJ Powell
