Today in Gear: A Bronzed Retro Diver From Oris, Sonos’ Surprisingly Affordable Soundbar and More
This Vintage-Inspired Dive Watch from Oris Is a Modern Classic
When it comes to iconic dive watches, few hold the clout of the Oris Divers Sixty-Five. The original Sixty-Five was introduced into the Oris collection over 50 years ago, and in honor of that historic timepiece, Oris has revived the silhouette with a new version of the Sixty-Five that shares the same aesthetic as the original. It’s been modernized with a bronze bezel and 21st-century watchmaking techniques, including an anti-corrosive stainless steel case. As far as dive watches go, the Sixty-Five is remarkably thin — measuring just 13mm from the center of the vintage-inspired bubble-curved sapphire crystal to the case back. Even with its slim profile, the Sixty-Five retains a 100m depth rating, so you can feel free to explore coral reefs this summer worry-free.
