Versace, one of Italy’s most storied fashion houses and an unapologetic defender of maximalism, just got easier to buy.

On Friday, Mr Porter announced that it would start stocking men’s wares from the Milanese brand. That means if you’ve got the cash to drop on well-designed and eye-catching Versace gear, but don’t live near one of its stores or official retailers, you can easily order it online. And while Mr Porter’s initial Versace offering is limited to just 15 pieces, they’re great ones: the Salehe Bembury-designed Chain Reaction sneakers are there, as is a heavy cotton twill overshirt, a logo sweatshirt and a very luxe bathrobe for those mornings when you want to look like Roller from Claws.

It’s a smart assortment for guys who’ve never worn Versace before, and a good appeal to guys who love the brand but wish it were easier to access. And we’d be willing to bet the retailer will offer more of the brand’s clothing, shoes, and accessories as time goes on.
