Billy Reid Bond Peacoat
Save 29%:In a scene from the 2012 Bond film Skyfall, leading man Daniel Craig stalks an assassin through a high-rise in Shanghai. In the action-packed sequence, Craig wears a dark tailored peacoat, deviating from Bond’s iconic black-tie attire. The peacoat, it turns out, was made by Alabama-based designer Billy Reid and was a personal favorite of Craig’s long before the movie was produced. “Daniel was a customer and had purchased the peacoat, a couple of years before he started filming the movie,” Reid told GQ a few years ago. “And he just loved the coat. And when they started filming, he said, ‘I want to wear this coat in the movie.'”
After Skyfall hit theaters, Billy Reid saw the style surge in popularity, and now, six years later, the wool-blend coat is still a staple of the brand’s outerwear collection. Made in Italy, the double-breasted coat features a tailored fit, horn buttons, a single vent and leather detailing under the collar. Normally $695, the Bond Peacoat is on sale now at East Dane and costs just $487. For a quality coat that’s good enough for the silver screen’s top spy, that’s quite the deal. — John Zientek

Laco Pilot’s Watches
Save $41: The flieger (or pilot’s watch) of WWII origins is a classic horological design, and it remains popular today. Laco, established in 1925, was one of the original manufacturers selected by the German government to produce flieger watches for pilots during the War, and they’re still producing the classic design today, designing and assembling them in Pforzeim, Germany.

Huckberry currently carries three models of Laco flieger watch, two of which, the Augsburg 42 and the Aachen 42, are currently on sale for $369, a $41 savings off the list price of $410. Both feature 42mm matte-finished stainless steel cases with 50m of water resistance, 20mm lug widths, Miyota 821 A automatic movements, scratch and impact-resistant sapphire crystals, transparent case backs, oversized knurled crowns, riveted calf leather straps and lume-filled dials and sword hands.

The differences between the two models is largely in the dials: the Augsburg 42 is an “A-type” dial, which includes a lumed minute track with larger hash marks at the hours, plus Arabic numerals and a triangle with two dots at the 12 o’clock position. The Aachen features a “B-type” dial, which has a minute track with larger hash marks at the hours, but rather than Arabic numerals corresponding to each hour, instead has numerals ascending in 5-minute intervals, plus an inner 12-hour track. — Oren Hartov

Faherty Button-up Shirts
Save 49%:When Mike Faherty started his namesake clothing brand a little over five years ago, his focus was on fabric. After spending nearly seven years at Ralph Lauren, Faherty was well-versed in both the process of making great garments and the importance of telling a story through materials. His own brand — cofounded with his brother — was rooted in the East Coast beach lifestyle, so the fabrics he designed for shirts reflected that. They had a great worn-in handfeel and a sun-kissed color. “When you saw our stuff, it was always going to have that little patina on it, whatever the fabrication may be,” Faherty told us in 2017.

The brand’s shirts are deceptively simple. On the rack, they look like basic plaid button-ups, but once you put them on, they immediately reveal the thought and effort behind the fabric. They’re substantial but soft, like a favorite shirt you’ve worn and washed for years.

If you’re in the market for a new button-up shirt, head over to Nordstorm Rack now. You can currently save 49 percent on button-up shirts from Faherty. Featuring a range of custom-developed fabrics and timeless designs, they’re well worth the price. — John Zientek
