Vacuums, Fans, Hair Dryers...
You Can Save Up to 50% on a Whole Lot of Dyson Products Today
Dyson is the Apple of home goods. Its products, though in traditionally banal categories, guide the greater market unlike any other brands in its space. Also, just like Apple products, Dyson products are typically pricey (it’s newest vacuum debuted at a whopping $500 base price). But, thanks to Nordstrom Rack’s Cyber Monday events, a handful of its best products are deeply discounted. Here are the three best buys from the sale. Note: these are all refurbished by Dyson and re-sold after thorough testing and cleaning.
Dyson Pure Hot+Cool
This is a fan and air purifier in one, and, having reviewed the more recent model of this very product, I feel bound to say it isn’t the absolute best at being a fan (Dyson actually calls it an “air multiplier”) or purifying air. However, it is the best at doing both at the same time, as most good purifiers are not fans and most fans just spin the air around without much thought to quality.
Dyson Ball Multifloor 2
From a price-to-performance perspective, the Multifloor 2 is one of the best Dyson vacuums you can buy. It’s of an older age of Dyson when corded vacuums were still en vogue, and because of that it’s got plenty of power (and obviously won’t need recharging). This specific model is just the right mix of old (meaning it goes on sale often) and new (meaning it’s still a beast), and works across all floor types and environments (pet hair isn’t an issue). It’s certified Asthma and Allergy Friendly and operates with a whole-machine HEPA filtration system. It’s very good.
Dyson V6 Motorhead
Just like the Multifloor 2, the V6 is just the right mix of old and new. This is one of the early upright cordless vacuums from Dyson, and though it has a few things the newer models don’t (a bit less battery life and the filters will need to be replaced more often), it’s still miles better than most cordless vacuums. It’s best served in smaller homes and apartments, so if you have a larger living space, I’d go for the Multifloor 2.
