We’re excited to offer another exclusive entry into our store’s Gift of Gear series, the Ratio Eight Coffee Maker and Drive Coffee Bundle. Not only are we offering one of the most innovative brewers on the market at a discounted rate, but we’re pairing it with some great coffee as well.

The Ratio Eight Coffee Maker is such a game changer for a simple reason; it makes a cup of joe with the body and richness of a barista-made brew with the touch of a single button. Instead of having to hover over your brewer with a kettle, it automatically bathes your grounds with two iterations of perfectly-heated water — the first achieving the sacred “bloom”, the second commencing the pour over-style brew — the Ratio Eight Coffee Maker extracts all the flavor of your coffee without the bitterness. In minutes you’ll be caffeinating like a king in the comfort of your favorite slippers.

Constructed from aerospace-grade, die-cast aluminum with a gloss powder coat finish and topped with natural wood finishes, the Ratio Eight is as attractive as it is simple to use. Simply add water to the tank, deposit the desired amount of grounds into the paper filter and go; starting your weekend has never felt better.

And to save you the hassle of having to find the right blend, we’ve included three pounds of single-origin coffee from Drive Coffee. The team at Drive has been refining its coffee palate for close to a decade with on-the-ground experience in coffee-growing regions the world over. Sourcing the best beans for their blends, Drive has produced a selection that mirrors the kind of greatness to which their packaging pays homage.

Pro tip: The handsome tin canisters make a stylish and reusable receptacle for all sorts of foodstuffs.

The Coffee

Le Mans

Tasting Notes: Chocolate, toffee, and almond.
Origin: Colombia
Process: Washed
Roast: Medium

Inspired by the legendary GT40’s that dominated Le Mans, perhaps the world’s most well known 24hr endurance race that takes place in France, this coffee is all about practicality and endurance. Only the toughest cars and drivers are victorious at Le Mans, a combination of impeccable engineering, and practical grit. Like the GT40, this edition is inspired by endurance, reliability, and refinement, an everyday, easy drinking coffee that’s refined enough to enjoy black, yet also tough enough to stand up to creamer or sweetener.

Trophy

Tasting Notes: Grapefruit, Brown Sugar, & Toasted Hazelnut, Medium Roast
Origin: Indonesia
Process: Washed Process
Roast: Medium Roast

This coffee was inspired by the legendary Camel Trophy Rallies which took place in some of the world’s most exotic locations. From the jungles of South America and Indonesia to Africa & the deserts of Mongolia, the Camel Trophy embodied rugged adventure. This coffee is comprised of beans from Sumatra & Sulawesi, site of the 1981 and 1988 Camel Trophy rallies.

Targa

Tasting Notes: Grapefruit, Brown Sugar, & Toasted Hazelnut, Medium Roast
Origin: Ethiopia
Process: Natural Process
Roast: Light Roast

Inspired by the epic course and Mediterranean setting of the Targa Florio, this coffee keeps things exciting with a more fruit forward profile. Originating in the mountains of Sicily in 1906, the Targa Florio is the world’s oldest sports car racing event and is still run to this day (as a rally). Of the many cars that made history at the Targa Florio, among the greatest is the 1973 Porsche 911 RSR that won in 1973, the last year it was run as World’s Sportscar Championship race and a truly significant moment in Porsche’s own Racing history.
