The John Lofgren Combat Boots

These Military-Inspired Boots from Japan Spare No Details

February 6, 2019 Style : Shoes By

John Lofgren has a reputation for uncompromised quality; based in Japan, his namesake brand spares no details when producing vintage-inspired products. These boots, which reference the iconic cap-toe military boots of the 20th century, feature Horween Olive Chromexcel leather, Goodyear-welt construction, Japanese horsehide linings and American-made brass eyelets and speed hooks. A Vibram 705 sole and 700 heel combination provide top-tier durability for everyday wear.

Available now for pre-order at Standard and Strange, sizes range from 6 to 12 (wide widths and custom options are also available) and boots ship in July 2019. At $820, they’re definitely an investment, but the components and construction are second to none.
