Crowdfunded late in 2018, Society is a startup selling natural, non-toxic everyday essentials — at cost. Nine products are available at launch — insect killer ($5), hand soap ($6), multi-surface spray ($5), bar soap ($3), carpet stain remover ($5), washcloth ($5), deodorant ($7), shampoo ($8) and a waterless pet bath ($5) — and the company plans to add more to its catalog monthly. The catch? To buy into Society’s soaps and cleaning products you have to buy a $9 a month (or $90 a year) membership. Happy cleaning.
