The classic pilot’s watch can provide the user with a plethora of useful information, and the Flightmaster, a quartz chronograph from Seiko, is a good example. A slide-rule bezel with two logarithmic scales and a a tachymeter scale, the Flightmaster can give information on speed and distance, fuel consumption, climbing altitude and much more. An alarm positioned at 6 o’clock and controlled by the crown provides another layer of usefulness, as does a chronograph and date function. You also get a 42mm steel case, screw-down crown, 200m of water resistance, Seiko 7T62 quartz movement, domed Hardlex crystal and a steel bracelet, all for just $200.
