Today In Gear: Peter Manning’s Proportionally-Made Clothing, the Most Hyped Grills In Grilling & More
Today in Gear is our daily roundup of all the latest product announcements, drops and deals. Comments or concerns? We’d love to hear from you at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For shorter guys, finding well-fitting outwear can be difficult. Even if you can get something tailored, details like the pockets and collar heights will still be out of proportion. This common issue is the reason Peter Manning began designing clothing specifically for shorter guys. And back in 2014, the first piece of outerwear the brand took on was the Tribeca Field Jacket.
The Tribeca Field Jacket is a modern take on the classic field jacket design, and it comes in three colors: navy, olive and tan. It offers plenty of versatility that can be utilized in layering to make it a year-round favorite — it styles well with a t-shirt and jeans for those cool spring and summer evenings but can also be layered up for year-round use. Double button cuffs and interior drawstrings make the fit adjustable, and details like sleeve length, body length, collar size and pocket size are all perfectly proportioned to ensure it’s the right fit for the not-so-tall guy straight off the rack — no alteration required.

Black Diamond ReVolt Headlamp
Save 25%: Black Diamond sets itself apart with all of the hyper-specific technical climbing equipment that it makes, but it still nails one of the most basic camping essentials: the headlamp. The ReVolt is one of its more feature-laden models, with multiple dimmable light modes for close-up tasks and long distances as well as strobe and night vision settings. It’s waterproof too, but perhaps best of all it has a hybrid battery system that lets you power it with three AAA batteries or via micro USB.
