Amazon’s Alexa is already a staple of homes around the world, allowing people to perform all kinds of once-laborious tasks as easily as raising their voice. It’s also begun making its way into cars. Several brands, such as Ford, BMW and Hyundai, have all added Alexa capabilities to their new vehicles, and that list of manufacturers is sure to grow as the years go by.

If you’re not in the market for a new car, though, that doesn’t do you much good. Luckily, there are plenty of aftermarket add-ons by reputable companies that can bring Amazon’s virtual assistant to any vehicle. The Garmin Speak With Amazon Alexa is a small, simple gadget that sticks to your windshield; by pairing with your phone via Bluetooth and leveraging its data connection, the Speak can be used to communicate with smart gadgets at your home or office, play music from SiriusXM or Pandora (Spotify capabilities should be added eventually), create lists of things to do or coordinate with your calendar, even play games. And of course, it is a Garmin, the first name in aftermarket navigation systems — so it’ll happily give you turn-by-turn directions, too. It’s normally $100, but you can snag it today on Amazon for just $50.
