This Iconic Guitar Is Practically a Steal

July 26, 2019 Culture : Music By

In 1979, legendary electric guitar designer Leo Fender started a new brand called G&L with two former Fender executives. His goal was to improve upon Fender’s iconic designs with better pickups, bridges and construction. More recently, the brand established its Tribute series, offering affordable takes on the upgraded instruments.

Today at Guitar Center, you can pick up a G&L Limited Edition Tribute ASAT Classic Ash Body guitar for 40 percent off. This familiar guitar features the iconic body shape that put Fender on the map paired with a 22-fret maple neck. The bridge is unique and includes 6 individual brass saddles for accurate intonation and added sustain.

The Tribute ASAT Classic has a G&L alnico single-coil in the neck position and a crisp G&L single-coil in the bridge position. This instrument features a gloss paint job to showcase the natural ash grain and a tortoise pickguard.

Now at Guitar Center, this $500 guitar costs just $300. It’s practically a steal, so act fast — the deal will be gone before you know it.
