Here’s How Some of Your Favorite Outdoor Brands Are Joining the Global Climate Strike
This Friday, 16-year-old Swedish environmental wunderkind Greta Thunberg’s latest demand for climate change action kicks into gear with the Global Climate Strike. Taking place just a few days before the UN’s Climate Action Summit, the protest promises to get loud: more than 2,500 events across 150 countries are planned for this Friday and next Friday, when participants will join forces with the International Earth Strike.
And it’s not just school kids participating. A large number of indigenous, labor, religious, humanitarian and environmental organizations are getting involved, as are a number of brands in the outdoor space.
