Attention fans of Woodford Reserve’s easy-drinking bourbon: the 2020 release of the not-so-easy-drinking Woodford Reserve Batch Proof is on its way.
For the uninitiated, the Batch Proof variant is part of the brand’s Master’s Collection series and drives the proof from 90 to the 120s (this batch is 123). It’s the same whiskey as standard Woodford, just bottled without added water. Last year’s release earned the number six spot in Whisky Advocate’s Top 20 Whiskies of 2019. You can find 2020’s Woodford Reserve Batch Proof retailing for $130 in select American and international markets.
