Born in Warner Robins, Georgia, up-and-coming country musician Travis Denning is making a name for himself with catchy vocals and guitar-forward tunes. In 2018, he signed to Mercury Nashville and subsequently released Top 40 singles “David Ashely Parker from Powder Springs” and “After a Few.” When not working on his first album, Denning travels the country on tour — currently, he’s supporting Dustin Lynch on dates through March and through the summer he’ll open for Sam Hunt on the Southside Summer Tour.

While in New York recently, Denning stopped by the Gear Patrol offices to talk about some of his tour essentials. From travel necessities like a MacBook Air and noise-canceling headphones to on-stage requirements like a Gibson Les Paul and a cult-favorite overdrive pedal, his picks reflect an artist fully immersed in his craft. To hear about his favorites, watch the video and find out more — then listen to his newest single, “Abby,” which just hit streaming services.
