High-speed photography transforms everyday events from the simple to the sublime and few manufacturers can match the slow-mo sagacity offered by Vision Research. The new Phantom Miro M320S (TBA) is their latest product to drop and as usual, is nothing short of amazing. Equipped with a 3.2 gigapixels/second throughput this tiny three-pounder is capable of capturing an astounding 1540fps in 1080p HD, with higher frame rates available at lower-res filming (up to 325,000 fps at 128 x 8). Sporting an internal capping shutter, on-board battery and lens mount fixtures for Nikon F and Canon EOS to name a few, the M320S capabilities are rivaled only by its ease of use. We’ve highlighted Phantom’s previous cameras’ capabilities here before, and expect similar cinematic bliss to follow.
