KA-BAR has been churning out incredible knife after knife since its founding in 1898. The latest film from Common Machine Prod. displays the history of the famous knife company — and done a fine job at that.

First founded by two brothers, KA-BAR was originally known as the Tidioute Cutlery Co. in Tidioute, PA. — in 1902 the company moved to Olean, NY where it still remains today. Now, where does the KA-BAR name come from? The company renamed itself to KA-BAR after the huge success of their most popular knife, the U.S. Marine Combat knife. KA-BAR continues to innovate the knife industry with quality USA-made knives for any need — including zombie attacks — and of course, the reality of hunting, combat, and utility.
